As was announced at the July meeting, our council will be adjusting to a grant-based charity awards program. We will continue to have designated, budget-approved awards for internal & ongoing programs like the Hope Ball, Assembly Golf Tournament, Birthright of Georgetown & Coats for Kids, etc., and we will create a new Charity Donation Pool with awards being distributed based on the Charity Review Committee’s (CRC) recommendations. These recommendations will be submitted to council for a vote.

The CRC will be comprised of 5 members which represent a cross-section of our membership. ie, leaders, non-officers, new members, seasoned members w/ high institutional knowledge.
